All Bark No Bite Rug from FLOR
When we moved in to our ‘new’ old 1900 home last year, we immediately ripped out carpet and all funky tiling that was in the house when we bought it. I remember very clearly closing day… I had some cute flats on, nice top, capris and I started ripping our carpet and padding while hubby went to buy new locks and door knobs for the house. He came back and was shocked to see what I had accomplished in so little time. This was quite the site.
Once the old (and very gross!) carpeting was out, we started brain storming about what we needed to put in the house for carpeting. We were on a very time crunched schedule to get carpet installed before we moved in. After looking around, we decided to go to Lowe’s and we bought FLOR tile carpeting for our entire first floor. We love it! I have to say that this was the best new home purchase that we made! If there is a piece of carpet that is stained or ruined, we simply pull that tile up and replace it with another one if we can’t get the stain out. This was when I was introduced to FLOR. I had never heard of FLOR until our adventure to Lowe’s and this was the day that I fell in love with FLOR tile carpeting.
FLOR has SO many options for so many areas in your home. You can get indoor/outdoor tiles, as well as holiday rugs and rugs for any room in any home.
For our kitchen, I chose the All Bark No Bite in Olive. The color is dark, rich, gorgeous and the thickness is perfect!

Oversized, slightly raised houndstooth pattern carved into varied color tones makes for pleasant softness underfoot. All Bark & No Bite is the best of both worlds – a pattern that’s also a neutral. Mix it up with saturated solids like Feelin’ Groovy or Power Nap for a new breed of style in most any room. Made in the USA. FLOR recommends straight installation.
SIZE: All FLOR tiles are 19.7″ x 19.7″
$16.99 / Tile ($6.32 sq ft)
You may think ‘Carpet in your kitchen?’ Well, we have tile in our kitchen, but I really wanted something in front of my sink & stove as well as in front of our deck doors. The 5X7 size is perfect because we utilized it as two rugs and in the winter, when our floors are cooler, we can make one larger size rug and center it in the kitchen. Here is how I set up the All Bark No Bite rug:
